Overview
A sun-cracked ravine steeped in residual Lightburn, where a divine storm once burned itself hollow. The Scorch Vein Chasm, while decidedly deadly to those who are not careful, remains one of the most reliable and easiest methods to traverse the Shale-Spine Hills that stretch across the horizon north-east of Drath's End

Background
According to scripture, the Shale-Spine Hills were created from the scales of a divine beast. During the Godfall, it's said that Lir-Mahzar swept a divine storm across the land and cleaved in two the hills so that he could strike at the army gathered in what is now known as Drath's End.
All that is known for sure is that the chasm is home to a myriad of dangers, but not insurmountable ones for even those Apostates that do not carry with them an unfortunate Penitent.
