Session Summary
Arriving in Drath's End, a group of Penitents find themselves drawn to a mysterious phenomenon that has been the talk of the town - a Mysterious blind man that wandered in to the tavern, speaking a language none have ever heard before. Under whispers of growing concern, the group seeks out the Ember-Fane, an abandoned ruin from before the Godfall that may be slowly awakening, posing a threat to the surrounding lands.
After Questioning The Barkeeper of The Bleeding Horizon Tavern, as well as the Blind Musician who fell victim to the fane's touch, the group set off from Drath's End and across the Scorch Vein Chasm, spending a single night in the shadow of the fane before ascending to learn what dangers lie within

- Quinn talks to the barkeeper, ordering a meal and drink for the party and learning that the blind musician is the one whom spent a night in the shadow of the Ember-Fane and returned speaking a dead tongue.
- After some debate, Quinn moves to speak with Salahair, eventually bringing him over to their table to discuss what he could
- Salahair is unable to speak, but takes a piece of charcoal and draws a message onto the tabletop, before returning to his lonely spot in the center of the tavern.
- After the meal, the group heads out of Drath's End, heading towards the Ember-Fane by way of the Scorch Vein Chasm
- Inside the Chasm, the group carefully makes their way past the series of steam vents and other dangers that present themselves, including dispatching a group of Vek'sura Spawn that erupted from one of the vents
- Arriving shortly before nightfall, the group decides to spend the night at the base of the ascent to the Ember-Fane
- In the morning, the group moves to the temple and attempts to ascertain how to open it
- Solving the puzzle, the group each sacrifice something to the temple as penance to open the door
- Vessel Sacrifices a Memory

- Verdas Sacrifices a Secret
- The doors open, the group enters and finds an animated Vessel that began to attack them
- After defeating the vessel, the group moves forward down the hall of perdition, making their way into the central worship chamber and encountering another foe
