- Session picks up a couple hours later
- Jassar and Durak go to the medical ward and get through most every test imaginable, before being relieved of their duty (not fired, just for the moment)
- Jassar and Durak placed in quarantined together, in the same room.
- Puck is out trying to gather information, hearing what people are saying. Got a 19 society check.
- First few hours, there isn't a lot of information to pick up, people are generally just questioning what happened.
- As the day goes on, rumors start to circulate.
- Caravan was dying of some strange disease
- Caravan was never people to begin with
- Caravan was already dead but was still walking
- The rumors spread like wildfire and get more and more bizarre as they spread
- The miners say the caravan picked up a cursed artifact and brought it with them
- Puck tracks down rumors of cursed objects, finds all sorts of things like a bracelet that couldn't be removed but caused a wasting illness.
- Puck checks out library book and brings it to Guard Thomas of third battalion near quarantine zone, then heads to the local tavern
- Meal = 3 copper
- Beverage = 1 copper
- Seek is wandering around looking for a fence (nat 20 society check!)
- Find a shady pawn shop
- Dwarven man with greying brown hair but a still brown beard. Slightly grimy clothing, but nothing overtly memorable
- Dwarf offers 2,500 gold, a knife, and a useless trinket, but seek has to come back
- Night passes, the city is getting a bit more tense.
- Durak is still grumbling and doesn't want to be in quaratine. Jassar rolled higher on his perception check,
- Durak and Jassar are finally released from quarantine. They go to Jassar's Apartment and bond over drinks, talking about what happened
- Jassar asks Durak if he knows about the 'Forge'
- Stoneheart forge is a myth to Drahkor. It's said Drahkor is the god who taught mortals how to harness fire and craft things, teaching them these things IN the stoneheart forge. It's a holy place that is so powerful if you have strength, skill, and faith to use it, you can create anything - entire manifestations of abstract concepts like hope and faith; if you can conceive of it, you can create it.
- Puck does her days worth of work and inquires about her book, the guard no longer being on duty. She also hears rumors about a person from the shadier side of town collapsed and was ill, having been taken to the quarantine zone
- Also hears a rumor that the guards are looking for a little gnomish girl with purple hair who called unnatural beasts in the middle of the town square
- Guard commander comes and talks to Durak, asks him to go to ruins in the north-east to try and find a cure for whatever illness is beginning to sweep through the city.
- Leader of the healer's guild comes and see's Jassar, talking about the same ruins, asking Jassar to join the expedition and go to the ruins in the north-east to try and find the cure.
- About 2 weeks worth of travel, maybe more if dangers slow the expedition
- Seek hands puck his clockwork box, she opens it and it explodes.
- Seek 'helps' her by pushing her out of the way saving himself from damage
- Tried to Charm her, failed but she didn't know it was charm
- 2nd night of travel to weirwood, watch goes wwithout incident for seek
- Puck hears a bird cry
- Durak hears a faint voice but nothing else
- Jassar hears the voice repeating some name they can't make out. Sounds miles away
- Party sets off into the weirwood. Seek warns Jassar to stay on the trail, Jassar doesn't stay on the trail and gets teleported away from the road
- Jassar sends up a flare with produce flame and the group sees it
- Seek begins to play counterperformance and eventually manages to lead Jassar back to the road, after some significant damage
- Durak keeps asking people to watch him change and if he can touch them
- We begin to hear voices call from in front, a man and woman searching for a child named ellie.
- Everyone but Durak and Eeyore fail the wisdom saves and are forced to move into the woods searching for them
